We have unique features in this area. St. Richard Gwyn has an inspiring and inclusive environment, open to all and respecting diversity. Flint High provides a close and caring sixth form, strong on tailoring its offer to the individual. The close proximity of the sites provides you with an exciting offer of excellence through our collaboration as ‘6’. Outstanding Care, Support and Guidance It is of paramount importance to us that our students are known and treated as individuals and we do our best to help them continue to develop into mature, confident young adults with compassion and respect for others. The ‘6’ team is accessible, welcoming and has an open-door policy for parents & guardians to contact us directly with any concerns. We ensure that students are well supported in their studies and other aspects of their life in the Sixth Form. Students still have access to a range of support workers for example: learning coaches, Careers Wales, counselling and Sixth Form Supervisors. Estyn recognised the good pastoral care on offer in both schools in their most recent inspections and the positive impact that it has on students’ learning, progress and well-being.
