Pupils - Blending Learning

We have used itslearning for many years at Flint High School, but since the Pandemic lockdown in March 2020 it has become our main platform for all of our learners to be able to access their lessons at all times.

Your username is your pupil ID number that you use to log on to the system at school and on first log in your password is 'password'. You are asked to change your password to something unique to you on your first log in. It is really important that you keep your password private and do not let your friends know it!

You can log on by clicking the link: https://flinthigh.itslearning.com/

You will be asked to log in and work via itslearning frequently. It is expected that you will access your lessons here, should you have to self-isolate due to contact tracing or if you are awaiting a Covid test result.

Key Stage 3 students (years 7, 8 & 9) should access the Key Stage 3 Blended Learning Course, which looks like this:

When you click the Key Stage 3 Blended Learning Resources course, you should see the welcome screen:

Students should click the 'resources' menu button and then the folder called 'Timetables'.

In 'Timetables' click your year and then your form group: Conway, Idris, Famau, Snowdon or Parys. For example, if you click the 'Year 7' folder and then '7C' it will take you to your timetable. If you are off on a Wednesday, you click the lessons for Wednesday and you will be able to complete the same work as everyone who is able to work in school. You can also click 'Homework booklet' to complete your weekly homework tasks.

Key Stage 4 students (years 10 & 11) should click the 'Key Stage 4 Blended Learning Resources' course, and then click the 'resources' tab. You should then select the timetable for your year group. Here is the Year 10 Timetable. If you are unable to attend in school, you go to the day and follow your lessons as though you were in school. The work here is the same as if you were able to be in school.

Key Stage 5 students (years 12, 13 & 14) should click the 'Key Stage 5 Blended Learning Resources' course, and then click the 'resources' tab. You should then select the timetable for your year group. Here is the Year 12 Timetable. If you are unable to attend in school, you go to the day and follow your lessons as though you were in school. The work here is the same as if you were able to be in school.

Should you have any issues with logging in or technical issues e.g. "access denied", please contact the school on (01352) 732268. You should get in touch with your teacher directly if you have any questions about the lessons or need extension work

Parents can access ItsLearning with the parent username: parent and password: parent

This will give parents full view access to all learning plans for each course and the homework booklets. Parents will not be able to engage with the activities
