6th Form dress code

Dress Code in the Sixth Form

Students should dress in a business-like manner. A high standard of appearance enables sixth formers to act as role models for students.

Jewellery is acceptable as long as it is practical for the subject being taken, e.g. design and technology.

Students studying LLS Sport & Coaching should wear their official uniform for all LLS lessons. If students are studying an additional AS/A2 course then they should dress according to the code set out in the handbook (available below).

Footwear should be smart and black and continue the business-like dress code (flip flops and sandals are not permitted).

Hats should not be worn inside the building.

Hair should not be extreme. This means no bright, unnatural colours or shaved heads etc.
Facial piercings and tattoos should be covered in school.

  • T-shirts (& crop tops) should not be worn.
  • Smart black trousers should be worn (no ripped/frayed styles).
